Before I state my opinion on this awesome Negima episode, the reason why I have not been keeping up with my blogging is because I’ve been busy. And today I have a day-off. So yeah. Anywho, continue on?

Anya is such an awesome character. To bad they made her as the crazy-badguy in this series. Anya was in the Star Crystal and possessed Evangeline with it.

I really like Nekane. And I find it cool that she uses her earrings as a magic channeler, instead of a ring or staff. Anywho, Possessed Evangeline (P-Eva from now on xD) turns Takamichi and Nekane into stone before they can stop her. At that moment, Chachamaru appears and tries to stop Eva…

….but in the process she nearly gets blown up.

P-Eva is about to hit Negi when Asuna comes and saves the day. xD Negi transforms Asuna and gets an Armor Card.

Too bad even with the almighty-powerful Armor card she still has no chance against P-Eva. P-Eva then kissess Asuna (yes, you read that correctly) and the kiss possesses Asuna and turns her evil.

Negi – *shock*, Chamo – *shock*, P-Eva – *grin*

P-Asuna (possessed Asuna) and Negi start duelling it out a bit before the others come. With Negi, Kaede throws a smokebomb and they disappear. P-Eva finds then petrifies the Cheerleaders and Sayo & Kazumi into stone.

P-Eva finds Zazie, Mana and Ku Fei and petrifies them as well. Ayaka and what remains of the class discuss there options.

Yuuna, Misora, Ako and Akira run into P-Eva and she, like the others, turns them into stone. P-Eva is then suddenly binded from a basic-magic spell that the remaining class summoned.

P-Asuna appears and is about to hit Negi when…..

Chachamaru appears and saves him! Chacha, who is now rebuilt with wings and repaired (by Hakase and Chao) confronts P-Asuna.

This fight is so awesome. It reminds me of the fight with Chachamaru and Asuna in Ep. 3 but this one is more longer and so much more cooler.

I love these highquality, fast-motion fights…

The one and only way to stop P-Eva and/or Anya is to… Kiss P-Eva and therefore Pactio with her. With Eva pactioed, she turns back to normal, along with Asuna and the rest of the class along with Nekane and Takamichi.

Chachamaru follows up with her Pactio. Negi then appears to get sucked into a hole (probably from the Star Crystal or Anya) while the rest of the class are transported to another magical setting, the forest of Wales.

Next week – Akira and Misora! I can’t wait as Akira is my favorite character.

Overall, I rate this episode 10/10. I really think it could be one of the best, or if not the best, episode in this series. Hopefully next week will be better as it is an Akira title. Although Yuuna/Ako got the title this week and they had only like 3 lines. Maybe Akira will get to pactio.

    I wrote 1000% Sparking with Ryouko instead of Asakura in the title is because… there is an Asakura in Negima as well, and the Asakura I wanted to show is the Asakura from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Got my point? xD

    Anyways, to my point of this post. I listened to the Yuuna, Akira, Misora, Ako version of 1000% Sparking (from the series Negima!?) 2 days ago and I loved the song so much that I put it on repeat. I liked it much better than the Negi, Asuna, Konoka and Setsuna version – as well as the Ayaka, Ku Fei and Makie version. I still haven’t listened to the one where Zazie, Sayo and Asakura Kazumi sing in yet, so I can’t wait to hear that.

I also found out they released 4 more character singles for Suzumiya Haruhi. So I got hold of Asakura Ryouko’s version and liked it so much, that the song COOL EDITION is on repeat. Speaking of Haruhi, is it confirmed yet for a second season? Anywho, what was my point for this thread? :O

I finished watching the subbed versions of Negima!? 10-13 a week ago, but just had the time to blog this (and all the other entries I’ve done yesterday and today). So instead of having 10-12 images of the episode, I only used the image on top. Isn’t Akira pretty? Going to write this up soon……… A bit busy at the moment.

OP: A Happy Life

I have to say, I find the OP much better than the ED. Speaking about the ED, they didn’t use the claymation sequence this episode but animated through it. I love how they animated the opening sequence, it was so fun to watch! But I think the OP song is a tad-bit dull.

Well, that was a nice episode. I really liked the character design of the flower-club girl (last row, left picture). I also liked how they did the next episode preview (last row, right picture). It’s very unique.

Momo and Mei are now my favorite characters of this series. I also love the drawing style of this series. So I’m going to rate this episode 8/10. Hope the next episode is just as good, or if not, better.

Manabi is seriously hyper. 0.o

No OP this week. The ED was claymation – which I didn’t like.

This episode was nice. I found it started off quite slow and only got good when Manabi started singing. My favorite character so far is the girl with the blue hair and the girl with the long dark blue hair. xD

I’ll continue to watch this a few more episodes until I drop it or not.

Shiori~~~~

I loved this episode. Specifically because it had a lot of my favorite character, Shiori, in it. There was a lot of music playing in the backround this episode which made the episode more better.

I feel so bad for Nayuki – always being rejected. Bah~ Ayu is so annoying…. but sometimes… like this episode…. she can be a pleasure to watch.

The animation was wonderful as well, from the lake water to the water fountain changing colors (those are always fun to watch!). Overall, I rate this episode a 10/10. Can’t wait till next week!

OP: Allegro Cantible

I enjoyed the opening, it was a fun little tune with nice opening animation. Since I am a big music fan, this opening was fantastic for me.

Chiaki Shinichi is an amazing piano player, thinking all the people around him are horrible – until he hears somebody playing Beethoven’s piano sonata, which at first he thinks is not really good until he heard it again.

Later on in the day, he goes out with his “ex-girlfriend” Saiko to get a drink – where Saiko suggests he studys out of Japan. Of course, Chiaki says no ’cause he is afraid of flying and doesn’t like boats either. He thinks about quitting music since he can’t really do anything if he stays in Japan. This infuriates Saiko and she leaves Chiaki saying that he is a looser.

Nodame, the pianist that Chiaki heard earlier happened to stumble upon a what seems like a drunk Chiaki sleeping next to her door. Chiaki wakes up in a filthy-environment room where he sees Nodame playing Beethoven’s sonata again. After a quick cleaning, Nodame and Chiaki start to get along.

Chiaki gets transfered to another music teacher’s room where Chiaki finds out that Nodame is in the same room with the same teacher. The professor makes Nodame and Chiaki play the sonata with each other – which in the end, turned out to be a test for Nodame.

Thoughts: Although I really liked the opening, the episode didn’t really appeal to me. The animation was nice, but I found there were to much still-shots when Nodame and Chiaki were playing music. Also, I SERIOUSLY hate Nodame – she seems so childish. Maybe that will change later on. Although I am a music fanatic, I am not sure if I will continue to blog this series – I will have to wait and see how the second episode will be.
